Here's your thinky thought for the day from the Harvard Business Review: 10 Reasons to Stop Apologizing for Your Online Life.

While recovering from my hangover Saturday morning, I re-watched most of the Covert Affairs pilot. I think it has potential, but it's also going to teeter on the edge of "been there done that, let's be as trite as all get out." For instance, I liked the IDEA of a high-powered married couple working in the intelligence field and having that bleed over into their relationship and manifesting itself in paranoia and all that jazz. But the only scene that really worked for me was that one at the end where they were conspiring. Otherwise it's just the bickery bickersons and played for eye-rolls and cheap infidelity gags.

It might explain something about the current intelligence community if they're spending all their resources wiretapping each other and not paying attention to ACTUAL security threats... but I don't think that's exactly the point they were trying to make.

The second time through I got some serious skeevy Conrad is going to turn out to be evil vibes. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

And, of course, let me join everyone else here to who said that Auggie is GENIUS and really the only reason to watch.

But then, I can't seem to stop watching things and paying more attention to the secondary characters than anything else.

Am off to the dentist in a couple hours. Oh is he going to yell at me for being six months overdue for my checkup ... and I am pretty sure he's going to find at least one large cavity, so I can figure on going back sometime soon to have my teeth drilled. BOOO!

Guess that's what I got on the top of my brain right now...
