Dear Monday:

Please start sucking less.

Have screwed up several work related things which mostly weren't my fault and can be blamed on machines being evil and hating me.

and

I woke up with a just bad enough to be annoying headache which isn't making any of this work stuff any easier to deal with.

BUT

on the plus side... I finished (for a given value of finish) my Mandr's Big Bang story yesterday. Just shy of 15,000 words. DEAR GOD...remind me never to do that again!

Okay so I don't really mean that, but that thing has eaten two months of my life. I do not think I am constitutionally made for writing things that long. Looking at my AO3 archive, my longest fic prior to this was Intime at around 7,500 words. Most seem to come in between 500 and 2000 words.

(OT, I see my RPF has the most hits of anything save my Yuletide fic! LOLs)

There's still a good bit of work to do on the fic to get it all smoothed out and pretty. Also the damn thing needs a title. I have some ideas, but nothing has bonked me over the head yet and said YES I AM UR TITLE, so... I await inspiration.

But back to the salt mine with me.

And hey, Monday, I haven't forgotten about you, you lousy sod. You can start improving any time now.

Congrats on finishing a first draft and good luck thinking of a title. I hate that too! We seem to be on the same tangent, fic-wise, as I'm working my longest thing ever too. I'll be really interested to read it when it's done.
