Snowy Saturday

So I'm back to being curled up on the sofa with my cat.

Went and did dishes to feel somewhat productive.

This morning was taken up with shoveling out the front of my house... and then landlord Dad came over with his snowblower and cleared my driveway. I gave him a hand with some of it, as the foot + of snow was heavy. He got his truck stuck in the driveway actually before we cleared out enought snow around the wheels to get some traction.

Have a zillion things I could or should be doing, but somewhat uninspired by all of them. I hate that I spend so much of my time dithering around moaning about my lack of direction. Gah. Maybe if I put "get life" on my to do list? :)

Have spent most of the day in between digging out from the snow curled up on the sofa reading my flist and watching America' s Next Top Model.

Keep hearing delicious hints about the upcoming roll out of the Virtual Season. Side benefit to not being chosen to help out with it is the ability to read read read what I'm sure will be wonderful offerings.

Off now to decide what to watch first... the cricket film with Delroy Lindo... Cranford with every great British actress ever... or some thriller with Patrick Stewart. Netflix has been good to me this week!!!

No snow here but my day too has just rolled along, unproductively. but, I cleaned like crazy last night and then my sleep messed up, and had pancakes this morning then slept a long time... LOL! Oh well.

I got an itouch and I am determined to make it help me stay organized and motivated with life.

VS--me either and I am GLAD! Though I love cheering on Mandr and Nick. Am looking forward to reading a bunch of the others.

good luck on that organizing thing. i keep trying. not sure what kind of marvelous technology an iTouch is ... but it sounds intriguing.

yeah. can't wait till I can see the things I've been hearing tantalizing hints about for far too long. I don't like being on the outside looking in. I want to READ them :)

As I knew would happen as I just can't tolerate carbs, I passed out for four hours--BUT I DID NOT CARE! LOL. I haven't had them in more than a year. I know, sad! Stupid body.

The iTouch is a lot of fun. I wanted something I could tote with me to read stuff on, and that is the answer. And it hs wifi so I can read online, check emails, etc. And I am putting a collection of music, photographs, and such on there too. Whee!

As for motivations--I have had a real hard time since finishing THe Gulls and the Secret Santa fic. Really hard. I've been reading tons though...and cheering on the kids (M&N) in their projects, which I love. (THeir VS is brilliance, oh man)

So, what you working on, or what do you want to be working on? Or do you know?

I think this winter weather FROZE my motivation or something. I just can't focus.

writing wise, my brain is playing with the TW regency thing... and I have an idea for a Gwen character piece where she realizes that Jack has made her realize that anything is possible... and the affair (or whatever) with Owen just reinforces the lack of boundaries, and how she sort of loves that.

So odd, as I have never had the urge to write Gwen before...
