bluecastleOh my gosh, you guys... killer acorns! What's next?!
Was driving across campus to go downtown and mail some books ... and as I was approaching a stop sign, and trying to avoid mowing down a couple bicyclists ... something flew in the window and smacked me in the temple.
Of course I flashed back to all those movies/new reports where people die from being struck in the temple.
I do not think I will be dying ... but when I dug around and located the offending missile it turned out not to be the rock I firstly assumed it might be, and was in fact an acorn. I have no idea how it was flung into my car... but it certainly didn't do my headache any good!
So I guess if the voices in your head tell you to roll up your windows and turn on the air conditioning ... maybe those voices should be heeded.
That's my excitement for the day, anyway...
