bluecastleam proud. a girl I know from my improv class called Director Cee while I was over there for dinner to let her know she WON the Buffy costume contest at Dragon*Con!! YAY! I saw some early concept sketches. I don't know nuffin' about Buffy [possibly I need to remedy this] ... but it was based on some pink Marie Antoinettey thing, possibly from a Halloween episode?
She says she got awesome art as a prize, and it was so awesomely large she almost couldn't get it in her suitcase...
Also, she signed up to get her picture taken with Nimoy and Shatner. From what I hear third-hand, Nimoy was nice. Shatner was a bit of a dick.
go no crafting done... nor did I get any alchohol, so the day was rather a bust on that end... but we bought a bunch of stuff... argued about t-shirt colors for the Shakespeare fest... and I got a free meal (with a doggy bag to take home).
