Very much enjoying my Emily free week (although of course there are prop lists to compile, and props to find, and bonnets to be trimmed…)

I seem to be filling it up with stories of murders and serial killers though. Not sure if there’s a deeper meaning to that…

Computers are supposed to make things easier right? So why does installing a new printer at work take all morning to accomplish and then we still have to twiddle with our computer settings. Points to the tech for recognizing my desktop wallpaper picture of the Empire State Building that I shot when was up there over Spring Break. Come to think of it, he liked the one I had of Bryant Park a while back too. They’re coming around sometime late summer/early fall to upgrade my machine. Shall I find a new picture for the next time he works on my computer!?

Watched another Leverage last night. Totally feeding that old obsession I once had with Mission Impossible. (Also the occasional hidden Doctor Who reference for LOLs.) I used to sit in my bedroom with the sound turned down to practically nonexistent and watch old episodes of MI with my ear pressed to the TV. I was rather supposed to be sleeping. Which always led to those scenes where you hear your parents coming up the stairs so you flip off the TV and launch yourself into bed and pretend to be asleep. Don’t tell me I’m not an actor.

Off at lunch to deposit my check I just got for the two days I spent as a Dormouse. Kewl. Also. Necessary. Funds are tight this month for some reason.

Am a couple hundred words into my ‘Suzie makes Ianto her bitch’ story. A couple hundred good words. Now I just need a place for the story to go … and a lot more good words.

eta: I'm on the hunt for a good Suzie icon. Anyone want to point me in the direction of some?
