me: *heading back to elevator after returning a book to the book drop*
copier guy: *dragging a very large copier out of the elevator. looks up at me and says* "hey, aren't you an actress?"
me: well, sometimes ...
copier guy: yeah, I saw you in a play, at the Barn.
me: *demurring* yeah, I've been in a couple ...
copier guy: I remember, 'cause I broke up with my wife the next week.
me: uh....
