You guys I could probably find a million great things to say about this Merlin/Gwaine fic. Maybe I love it so much because I know pining so well. I don't know ... but love letters ... political intrigue ... UST ... oh so MUCH UST...

I started reading this the other night, and couldn't stop. I was up until 2 a.m. finishing it. If you like Merlin/Gwaine, and need a love story betwixt them... carve out some time and READ READ READ. Its as much about what ISN'T said, as what is, but that just adds to the loveliness, IMHO.

(p.s. for chat peeps. Gwaine's thighs get mentioned three times in the first chapter ;)))

(p.p.s -- I want fan art of Gwaine in the surcoat he is gifted with towards the end of the story. So much!)

:D thanks for the lovely rec! I think I'd just about die of glee if there was any kind of fan art at all. (thought I think I probably already doodled the surcoat symbol in a notebook while bored at a conference at some point months ago. Hrm!)
