crock pots galore!

Just snuck back to take some pictures of our really snazzy loading dock cum break room (ok, that's fun to say). Between yesterday and today someone put up a tree... and we have two tables full of food back there. I estimate in about 36 minutes there'll be a call for MOAR food and someone will be digging into the meatballs (or bbq) or whatever's in those crock pots back there.

Office things are weird. But as I say so often... hey, free food. I brought a veggie thing from the store and a slighting more exciting tupperware thing full of olives, pickles, and a big jar of pickled cauliflower, carrots, and jalapenos. All this was easier than making my world famous deviled eggs.

Some days I wish I hadn't given up that catering dream. I love making parties for people.

And while I complain a lot about the folks whose offices are near mine... I actually like most of our repair shop guys. One of them left me a christmas card stuck to my office door this morning.

The last office party we had the main topic of conversation was RVs. I wonder what it will be today?

Hee, the picture makes me laugh -- today was our vegan potluck at work, too. I made sweet potato casserole and three kinds of cupcakes. There were zero crockpots. The vegan lasagna was actually amazing. Yummy, yummy food! How was your food?

this is the land of the three month tailgate. we have lots of crockpots!!!

for a while I was the only female back there, and the the conversation was all about how grilling is TOTALLY legit cooking despite what all their wives said. I LOL'd.
