bluecastle | I did WHAT?!

While my chicken, wild rice, water chestnut and grape salad sits in the fridge cooling a bit more before dinner, I have time to more properly answer that question my mother posed to me on the phone a bit ago "did you do anything interesting today?'

Well, mom, I committed porn today. Hadn't intended to write anything for the Porn Battle going on this weekend, but I remembered an old bunny I had, and figured I could get something around 500 words out of angry Ianto/Owen...

Mom doesn't need to know I spent the day reading porn and writing dirty talk in the back of an SUV. She just doesn't.

On the flip side of the coin, I spent last night watching some Old Who thanks to Netflix and their play-it-now thing. My internet connection makes for a rather fuzzy picture, but it was good enough. Rather at random I picked an old Five adventure called "The Visitation" which was an odd mixup of the Doctor, Tegan, Nyssa, and Adric in the 17th century ... with reptilian aliens called Terileptils. It was sort of Cyrano meets Sigmund and the Sea Monsters.

I got exposed to Old Who when my local PBS station used to run it back when I was in college. It was mostly Tom Baker era stuff... but I seem to remember the change from Four into Five. And Five in that cricketing get up. Yes, Sir!

It was kind of dreadful and rather LOLarious... but it made me happy. The grindy TARDIS noise always does.

Five's era was very WHITE in terms of the art design, which I found an odd contrast to the corally grunge of New Who. Also, I saw a lot of Ten in Five... or there's a lot of Five in Ten... or something... Although Five's a bit more of an aloof bastard, tromping off and leaving companions willy nilly in all kinds of harm!

So off I go to catch up on any new porn and eat my chicken salad... sounds like a fine evening to me!
