Nov. 3rd, 2010 01:28 pmtoday's writing prompt over at the lj comm
staringout : "You're the last person I expected to see today."
which gives me vague morning after regret sort of vibes, but not sure who it is talking yet. Anyone have anything that popped into their head upon reading that sentence?
today's naval gazing (which I will spare you) has to do with the myriad ways that latching on to what I would later discover was called "failure avoidance" when I was about 8 fucked over my life and my brain.
but I am full of fish and chips and want a nap... but I have to sit through a copyright thing at 3 pm. I should go over to the library and attend in person, but since they are streaming it over the web I think I shall stay in my office instead. then no one of importance will see me yawning.
NaNoWriMo word count to day: 2,529
the me that isn't freaking out over how much less than the official day 2 goal of 3334 words that is, is pretty okay with that. Frankly, 1000 words a day is a lot for me, so even if I keep that up, I will be happy, even if it means not "winning."
