rainy, 62 degrees
Sep. 27th, 2010 04:20 pmSo I probably shouldn't have discovered that Netflix instant viewing will stream to my iTouch. Yes, there's an app for that!
Said app led me to the rather meta level of lying in bed last night watching a Spanish language, Chilean/German produced film called En la Cama (In Bed) about two people who spend the whole night in a hotel room alternately talking and fucking. Talk about a small film ... just two cast members and the whole thing takes place in a marginally seedy hotel room (occasional small scenes in the ensuite excepted).
I liked it a lot. The sexy bits were sexy ... and the talking bits only occasionally went off the rails. The camera spent a lot of time dollying around the bed, but when your whole movie more or less takes places ON the bed ... you've got a lot of challenges in keeping things from being too static!
The cat kept plonking his head down on the iTouch screen. He does that if I've got a book too. Jealous cat is jealous.
But it's probably a good thing that the wireless at work is pretty useless... otherwise I'd be sneaking films and tv shows all day long (in between actually watching stuff for work).
I think I need to find things to do not related to reading things and watching things :)
