I've got this b/w French film from 1936 playing right now ... and one of the King's aides is dressed exactly like Grandpa Munster. LOL.

My boss just came around to check in with the people in the offices all around mine ... but he didn't bother to stop in and check in with me. I always wonder if this is neglect or trust. Does he not not check in because he doesn't want to, or because he thinks he doesn't have to?

Hell. Now I want Jack/Charles Boyer fic! Also I'm guessing it's warm in that palace ballroom, given the way the ostrich feather fans are fluttering.

Working on my dark_fest fic. I always get all twisted up over challenge fics as I worry that what I write won't be what people wanted somehow. I'm a couple hundred words in (I've probably written 2,000 words to get to the useful ones) and I have a direction. Hopefully I can continue on this roll I'm on. *crossed fingers* ... I've got to get it done in the next couple days so I can round up a beta.

Off to take a long lunch hour and run some errands on this lovely day...
