So girl’s night out last night meant margueritas, nachos, brownies, and a dollar movie – Night at the Smithsonian II. I think I laughed at all the wrong spots… but I found Clint Howard in the Houston Control Exhibit in the Air and Space Museum the greatest inside joke ever. Plus bonus points to the cameos by Oscar the Grouch and Darth Vader.

My pal whom I have brought over to the dark side Torchwood and I also screamed way too loudly when we saw the PTERONODON flying around the warehouse/archives.

MYFANWY LIVES!! (That’s my story and I’m sticking to it)

Pal ‘o mine is in mourning for Owen … she’s just finished Series 2. She had inappropriate love for Owen (is there any other kind?) and so is a sad panda now.

Also, apparently I can turn the world on with my brain (or something) … as I was driving into work this morning, squinting as the sunlight inflamed my headache, and listening to Steve Martin’s banjo album, I was musing that I hadn’t seen any work crews from the Penitentiary out lately picking up trash. No sooner did I have that thought… than THERE THEY WERE!! Chatting away amongst each other as they trailed their trash bags along picking up garbage in the verge between the lanes.

Off now to process dvd’s on culturally sensitive counseling. fun.

HEY FLIST -- Anyone out there have the TIME and the inclination to give the 3,000 odd words of my latest a look see?

Everyone seems busy with own projects, and that's cool... I can post it as is no problem, but thought I'd throw it out there in case...

let me know...

Jack stood there, far in the background, under a shady tree. He watched the simple funeral service. He watched as the mourners paid their respects and left. He knelt next to the gravesite as dusk was shadowing the tombstones of the little cemetery. He started when he felt a hand on his shoulder, and looked up to see Ianto standing next to him, holding a white rose.

“May I?” Ianto asked, gesturing towards the grave.

Jack stood, and took a step back before nodding once.

“To lost loves,” Ianto said, as he knelt and placed his rose upon Estelle’s grave.
