So at work today it's our annual "Library-wide Clean-up Day" where you are supposed to turf out all that STUFF that accumulates in your office/work-space all year long that shouldn't be there. Also, we are encouraged to weed our files, clear out pointless emails, and go through our computers and get rid of documents we no longer need. And then there is a picnic. I don't do the picnic, but it's kind of nice to take some time and de-crap the office.

Have moved onto series 3 of MI-5. I am glad the main guy did not drown himself, but some show info I looked at indicated that Tom drops off the show, and I have a feeling it's pretty soon.

I am still getting chills when they put "Thames House" up on the screen as a location marker. Especially as Matthew Macfayden looks a lot like series 3 Ianto by times. Especially when he's got his earpiece in.

Anyone need/want a Dreamwidth invite code? I got some today ...

I've got a couple thousand more words to go on the longfic, some major clean-up to smooth out the bits, and then I'll be looking for some beta help ... maybe sometime next week. Give me a shout if you wanna give me some feedback on my Jack off the rails in NYC in 1991 getting made almost dead and falling in with the cast/world of the tv Beauty and the Beast.

Along those lines, I am looking for a piece of poetry to imbed in it and not having a lot of luck finding what I am looking for ... something which acknowledges that death is terrible, but that life goes on. Canonically, BatB uses a lot of those dead white guy poets, but as long as it isn't TOO modern... It doesn't need to be very long, just poignant.

Okay, off to get back to throwing junque out!!

I'll have time next week to beat or pre-read or whatever would help. School starts on Monday! Yay! Although, yeah, I will miss The Boy. My BatB memories are vague and unclear but I did watch the show. Will toss your poetry dilemma in the back of my brain to perk during evening dog-walking. Always good thinking time.
