RIGHT. So I officially don't like my life very much right now.

Hanging in there, but it's a lotta clutching at floaty bits in the sea of despair.

No crises ... nothing much to worry about ... just a rather bad blue patch.

Might go back to watching old old MI-5 episodes now (am on series 2 of what, 7?). So far Greg House, Tosh, Uther Pendragon, and Sherlock Holmes have dropped by as a snotty MI-6 git, a bad girlfriend, a rogue agent, and a MOD mole. I think Ianto might have taken style tips from Hugh Laurie's character. I'd like to think he made a point to skulk around Vauxhall while at TW1 and spy on the spies. :)

Is MI-5 the same thing as what's called Spooks in the UK? I don't think I've seen more than an ep or two since I left.

Or am I totally wrong?

no, that's the one. It's got some script arc/plot problems, but it's okay... and they have great guest stars :)

You should be running into many, many more familiar faces before you're done. Also, the best ep Spooks ever made was in series 3, with Alexander Siddig, and all went downhill from there, imho. But it actually grew a greater following since, so it must just be me :).

Also, in the interest of interesting things :P, can you tell me which ep, roughly, Benedict Cumberbatch was in?

Just a tiny little scene towards the end where's he's being interrogated for selling secrets and being stupid. But he's sitting right under an overhead light and looks so young! (well, ok, it was 8 years ago :)

Feel better! I know how that feels, I feel that way often. Exercise always makes me feel better.

It's so funny to see British actors pop up in like EVERY OTHER UK TV SHOW. I think I've seen about that much of MI-5 also. Maybe some of S3? I can't remember. I think I got into the series where Rupert Penry-Jones becomes the main guy but didn't finish it.
