sunny and 57 degrees
Hey! Anyone else think this week's NCIS should have been called "Tony overcompensates because his boyfriend went back to his ex?"
LOL
Ah. Nothing says work like the woman from the next office pinning you in your office w/in the first five minutes after you arrive and saying "hey, this thing that's wrong in the database ... that's YOUR mistake, right?" (or words to that effect). Reminding myself we need the beancounters too. But still. Annoying.
Also she made me open stuff in the WRONG order, so now my various windows are all mixed up. Yeah. Pot meet kettle. :D
But I am having lunch out with former colleagues ... the interesting ones ... he used to work for The Wall Street Journal (back in the day) ... and she is on husband number 3, and is the one who's friend's husband hit on her and now she has to decide whether to tell her friend. Why she wants MY advice on this, me who has never really been in a relationship, is beyond me! But they are always good fun ... Mark Trail comics theater aside :)
Today's a mixed-bag, isn't it?
